It’s extremely durable – each ClickCheck™ can do up to 70,000 measurements. Assuming we conduct 3 measurements per eye (to get and average) per user, it could be used on 10,000 patients.
The ClickCheck™ is based on the Badal Principle of Optics, first originated in the 1800s. We have registered patents on the mechanism and the design of the product.
Device The ClickCheck™ Folding Foropter
Material Made of plastic which can withstand rough conditions during vision screenings. Made of cardboard.
Measurement Estimates spherical power, high astigmatism and axis power. Estimates only spherical power.
Range of scale Covers a large range from +8D to -11D Covers +4D to -7D
Lifespan Priced at USD 54, able to screen around 10,000 wearers at <0.5 cents per screening. Lifespan is 140 times higher than the folding foropter. Priced at USD 7, able to screen around 250 wearers at 3 cents per screening. Has a lower lifespan compared to the ClickCheck™.
