Extremely durable. Each ClickCheck can withstand around 70,000 measurements. Assuming we conduct 3 measurements per eye (to get and average) per user, it could measure be used on 10,000 users.
ClickCheck is based on the badal optometer principle which had been around for hundred years. We had patents covered on the mechanism and the design of the product.
|Material||Made of a more robust plastic material to overcome the rough conditions during the vision screening events||Cardboard material which is less robust|
|Measurement||Estimate Sphere, High astigmatism and axis||Only Sphere|
|Range of scale||Covers a large range from +8D to -11D||Covers +4D to -7D|
|Lifespan||Priced at USD 54, able to screen around 10,000 wearers resulting in less than 0.5 cents per screening. Has a higher lifespan of around 140 times higher than the folding foropter||Priced at USD 7, able to screen around 250 wearers resulting in about 3 cents per screening.
